Call for Papers

DEADLINE: NOV. 1, 2008

The Women’s and Gender Studies affliate of the SSSA seeks proposals for papers or panels that investigate women, gender, and other minority groups. Proposals can be involve empirical, theoretical, or applied social scientific work.  Proposals related to the theme are particularly welcome, but proposals on all topics related to women, gender, and minority groups will be considered.

DO NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS SUBMITTED TO OTHER SECTIONS OF THE SSSA. We endeavor to cross-list many panels from the other affiliates, but create a separate program that should not contain duplications.
Please e-mail or send an abstract of 250 words or less, along with status (undergraduate student, graduate student, or professional) and complete contact information (phone, e-mail, and complete mailing address) to the Acting Program Chair:
